VEIDUS DATA

Human ground truth for intelligent systems.

Veidus is building an opt-in human intelligence network designed to connect real-world experience with human intent, decisions, actions, corrections and outcomes.

THE DATA GAP

Observation captures behavior. Ground truth gives it meaning.

Entered a storeWhat was the goal?
Viewed several itemsWhich options mattered?
Selected oneWhy was one selected?
Changed approachWhat caused the correction?
Completed a taskDid the outcome work?

Models trained only on observable behavior may be forced to infer answers the participant already knows.

DATA HIERARCHY

From context to trajectories.

01
Environmental Context

Visual context, audio context, location, movement, time and environmental state.

02
Egocentric Activity

Navigation, tool use, human-object interaction, task execution and physical-world activity.

03
Human Ground Truth

Intent, attention, preference, rationale, confidence, correction, satisfaction and memory.

04
Decision & Outcome Trajectories

Connected records of goals, choices, actions, feedback, failures, retries, corrections and outcomes.

WHY PARTICIPANTS MATTER

Some labels cannot be reliably generated after the fact.

The person experiencing an event can provide ground truth about intent, attention, preference, rationale, satisfaction, memory and outcome that passive observation must otherwise attempt to infer.

The participant supplies information observation alone cannot reliably reconstruct.

FAILURE & RECOVERY

Perfect demonstrations show success. Recovery trajectories show learning.

Goal → Attempt → Failure → Feedback → Adjustment → Retry → Outcome

Errors can expose incorrect assumptions, missing information, recognition, adaptation and recovery strategy. Those transitions can be valuable signals for systems that must operate beyond ideal demonstrations.

HIGH-VALUE CATEGORIES

Ground truth for understanding human goals, decisions and outcomes.

Human Intent

What was the participant trying to accomplish?

Preference

Which options mattered, and which were preferred?

Decision Rationale

Why was one path selected over another?

Task Execution

How did a person progress through a physical or digital objective?

Error & Recovery

What failed, how was it recognized, and what changed next?

Human + AI Collaboration

How did assistance affect subsequent human action and eventual outcome?

Outcome & Satisfaction

Did the decision or action produce the intended result?

Memory & Recall

What did participants intentionally want to retain or recover?

Real-World Reward Signals

Which outcomes represented progress, success, correction or failure?

CUSTOM DATA PROGRAMS

Need data that does not exist yet?

Veidus is developing relationships around defined real-world tasks, environments, behaviors and ground-truth requirements for AI, robotics, autonomous systems and research.

Participation is opt-in. Provenance and permitted use are part of the data.
